The course covers key components of self-direction, including understanding budget categories, tracking expenses, hiring and managing staff, and accessing community resources. Participants will learn practical strategies to make the most of their budgets, ensuring funds are used to support meaningful goals and promote greater independence for their loved ones. Through guided instruction, real-life examples, and Q\&A sessions, families will gain the tools and confidence needed to manage and maximize their self-directed supports.
